Saurashtra Language in one of the 80+ in the World - May 2021

From the last 3 years, with dedicated work by many of our Saurashtra people who have love for our Language,  finally our Saurashtra Language has found its place in one of the 80+ plus languages in the world in May 2021.

கடந்த 3 வருடங்களாக நம் தாய் மொழி ஸௌராஷ்ட்ராவில் பற்றுள்ள சிலரின் கடும் முயற்சியால், நம் தாய் மொழி ஸௌராஷ்ட்ரா உலகில் 80க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மொழிகளில் ஒன்றாக இடம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது.  இதன் பயணம் 2018ல் இருந்தே தொடங்கிற்று.

World Mother Language Day 2019 was celebrated by Bharath Bharathi in Chennai. Through Dr.M.S.Jayaraman, Ph.D., Ravikondda was invited to this.  He represented our Saurashtra language and spoke about the antiquity of our language. 

During Vedic times several thousands of year ago, Sanskrit was the official language but Prakrita was the spoken language of the common man. Our language Saurashtra spoken now by over 24,00,000 (24 Lakhs) people mostly in South India is a shoot off of Sauraseni Prakrita a branch of Prakrita.  

உலக தாய் மொழி தினம் 2019 பாரத் பாரதி யால் சென்னையில்கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.  Dr.M.S.ஜெயராமன், Ph.D., அவர்கள் மூலமாக அழைப்பு வந்து, பிரதிநிதியாக ரவிகொண்டா ஸௌராஷ்ட்ர மொழியும் அதன் பாரம்பரியம் பற்றியும் பேசினார். 

International Mother Language Day on 23rd of February, 2020 was celebrated in Westminster, London, UK. Mr.Kishore of Delhi invites RaviKondda to make a presentation and he writes a poem in Saurashtra language for the occasion and it was presented by a Saurashtrian Ms.Kamalini Somalinga who lives in London. 

This gets lots of publicity worldwide..... London, Dubai, NewYork and Delhi. 

இது உலக அளவில் நம் ஸௌராஷ்ட்ர மொழிக்கு நல்ல தொரு விளம்பரத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி உள்ளது.  

World Health Day 2020 was celebrated in London UK. Doctors had presented their works in 18 languages.

Padmashree.Dr.T.S.Chandrasekar wrote a poem "Ivarkan Velgi Ghommo Rhavo" in Saurashtra language and presented it. 

உலக சுகாதார தினம் 2020 லண்டனில் கொண் டாடப்பட்டது. டாக்டர்கள் 18 மொழிகளில் தங்களின் படைப்புகளை வழங்கி இருந்தனர். பத்மஸ்ரீ.Dr.T.S.சந்திரசேகர் அவர்கள் "இவர்கன் வெல்கி கொம்மொ ர்ஹவொ" என்ற கவிதையை எழுதி அனுப்பி இருந்தார். 

International Mother Language Day 2021 was celebrated in Westminster, London, UK. and this time Ms.Kamalini Somalinga who lives in London, writes her own poem in Saurashtra "Pous" and presents it to the world. 

உலக தாய்மொழி தினம் 2021 லண்டனில் நடை பெற்ற போது, இம்முறை திருமதி.கமலினி சோமங்கலி அவர்கள் தானே "பௌஸ்" என்ற கவிதையை இயற்றி வழங்கினார்.
